Doubt that we will but it'd be great to upset the applecart tonight.

If there's a guard of honour, John Terry will turn up in his Chelsea kit. Just so he can refuse to clap.

The big question is, do I watch the match, listen on the radio, or try and ignore it completely until FT?

First thing I thought about as I woke up this morning - being cursing the coverage on every media outlet I turned on - just give them the damned title and let us get on with the important stuff...

Remember you are Aston Villa FC and play to win!

I have made plans to be away from tv/internet tonight.

I am expecting the worst so that I won't be disappointed when I finally check my phone.
I don't believe that. Yes you can put it off but you will be I guess when you do check!

I think we will score. Our defence will let us down again though.

4-1.

I am going to be doing some decorating, if anyone wants to help. If we win there will be Dulux Diamond Matt flying everywhere.

our lads shouldn't need motivation beyond their own situation but what better way to shove it everyone's face than to win this game? The whole world saw us get battered at Chelsea. The whole world can see us come out of this with tremendous credit and evideence of commitment and development if we get a win against a team that everyone has said will win tonight. It's like we needn't bother showing. Give United the points and the trophy and they can all have a massive Sky orgy earlier in the evening without the nuisance of that little club from Birmingham being there.

I'll watch it, I have suddenly been overcome by the strange feeling that we're going to win.

We'll probably win 3-0 just to fuck my bets up. Bastards.

I put money on Man Utd, as I always lose bets.

Nothing to lose tonight - any result will be a bonus and i hope the longer the games the more tense united fans will get.

Well I don't think a defeat would be a bonus! But I take your point.
