There's a part of me that says this will all be over inside 20 minutes, they won't fuck it up from here, done & dusted, first attempt, on the beach by Tuesday morning.
The other part of me says we'll get a draw, we've enough about us to cause problems for them up front, but I still hold my breath every time the opoosition get a corner or free kick in our half.
We will score form open play tonight, that's my prediction, they'll score from a set piece.  So a draw it is.

I will make the bold predicition that a Yanited player should walk, but will stay on the pitch. I predict we should have two nailed on penalties, but they will be waved away.

I predict we will score twice and so will they.

we play much better away from home
we are a counter attacking side
defending we are poor, attacking against packed defences likewise
catching teams on the break is our game
7-6 to the villa.

At least we won't see the title awarded tonight even if united win - there will be no presentation until the final home game of the season .

So what is preferable - easy crusing 2-0 to them with two early goals, or being robbed of a point with one in Fergie time, following 90 mins of hope that we are getting something?

They've looked very ordinary. Show them no respect, get in their faces, show them what we can do, stuff them 3-0 and watch Sky implode.

That's like being asked to decide which colour car you'd prefer to run you over.

I kinda hope Rooney starts. He has been pretty mediocre (if that) recently and it looks quite likely he'll be off in the summer.

You'll have to excuse me because I wasn't there, but as I understood it the key figures in their win at VP earlier in the season were Scholes and Hernandez. How did the usual suspects fare?

I reckon 3-2 loss, Rooney last minute winner.

I notice on BBC 1 tonight at 10:30 ish, they are showing repeats of a an old 'HIGNFY'.
I wonder if there will be a change to the scheduled program with a MOTD special ?

Yanited usually win the trophy away from home, from memory (I've not checked the stats). Might give them more impetus to do it in front of their brilliant, loyal fans tonight.

I have made plans to be away from tv/internet tonight.

I am expecting the worst so that I won't be disappointed when I finally check my phone.

There's always a couple of odd results this time of year.

I'd so like them to be winning 1-0 in the 90th minute, celebrating like only the fans of the greatest football club in the world can, then we hit them with 2 in Fergie time to win 2-1, from which we never look back.
I'd also so like to win the Lottery on Wednesday.
