We'll concede so we need at least another one. Sylla and Westwood doing a good job in midfield now they've settled. Bannan's error was criminal and Gabby's miss was horrible although he made up for it with the touch to Benteke.

That was a bloody good first half performance. We're finding room for the front three to make runs in dangerous areas and between the three of them we look very threatening. I'm concerned how easy it is for Liverpool to thread balls through to Ratboy but both Vlaar and Baker are getting in challenges.

If we can keep up the pressure and composure we will continue to make chances. Entertaining game, something we haven't said too often at Villa Park over the last few years.

If we can stop Suarez, then maybe, maybe, we can stop Liverpool. Just can't see it, though. Still a draw for me.

Gotta stop the shirt pulling, it's really winding me up.  The ref don't seem able to stop it.

Come on Villa! No reason why we can't win today.

So far, Sylla's been good, Baker's been absolutely superb. We're struggling to cope with Suarez and Coutinho's movement, but so do a lot of teams. They're just very good players.

Second half, they're going to push up from the off. Gabby needs to stand next to Carragher, who is about as mobile as a cement mixer, and every time we win it back, we should lob a ball in behind.

Still think we'll win this. Liverpool are the most powderpuff side in the premier.

I'd put Delph on for Bannan, then stretch them last 25 mins by bringing on N'Zogbia.

Defo need Delph on for bannan - that aside everyone is playing well enough , we look good going forward and the full backs are getting good crosses in - Westwood and sylla look ok - just weak link bannan.

Someone needs to ask the ref to watch Carraghers shirt pulling. Said it all season. Baker is our best defender ....

Baker looks better in central defence than Clark- no question!
