So let me get this in proportion the technically accomplished unlucky but superior team are now 3-1 down to a team that beat them 5-1 in the group stages. And they've lost their shape...
Or you could smile and be happy that Villa are going to be in a euro final.
I think we have been excellent all game. Even in the first half we looked dangerous and never really allowed them to create any clear threats, just half chances. Robinson was superb and always looked dangerous. We looked great on the ball and unlike Sporting looked confident and composed when we didn't have it. I don't think the pitch helped us as we looked the better footballing side capable of passing through them to create chances. A good win and hopefully we can replicate it in the final.
