If we as fans were to start a campaign is it just the Monday night game we want rid of? I suggest the Saturday lunchtime ko is awful from atmosphere and for anyone having to travel any distance.
Friday nights would be a great idea, couple before the game and straight out on the lash afterwards, and no work the following day, what a way to tee up the weekend.

Friday night would be better than Monday night football. Playing on a Monday feels like you've missed out on the weekend's football. Plus it would be better for shift workers, most of whom have finished their working week by Friday.

If the club don't get more points than Wigan between now and the end of May you might get your wish!

Oh God yeah. :-(

Yeah but at least you wouldn't have to face work in the morning.

Definitely a ball-ache, I'd prefer Thursday night to Friday/Monday, at least then it allows guilt free drinking! Balls to it, see any London Villans on the 23.00 train to celebrate.

Good gesture by the club for this one in allowing ST to bring a friend for a fiver and move anywhere in the ground free of charge. Hopefully this will help boost the crowd and atmosphere.

Well done to the club for offering what they can, but it's not much consolation to my 7 year old though who will be in tears because he can't go AGAIN because of fucking Sky! It isn't Sky that has the job of telling him he can't go, nor the club, but me. Bunch of fucking wankers.

For all the money and thought Sky has put into its presentation of football it will never even get close to the old stuttering videprinter on BBC.

Call the ticket office, Preston. They will refund you most likely.

It would have been worse being locked in for 45 minutes on a Monday night than it was on a Friday.

That said, with the snow I didn't get back to Manchester until 3am, having driven from Scotland to get to the game.

Bad times.

Even better efforts from the club. I bought a ticket for my son-in-law's only visit of the season the same day the match was later changed to a Monday night job. Well pissed off and then the next day they offer the 'bring-a-buddy' deal for £5 (my ticket was £42). I rang up to ask if there was anything I could do and they offered to refund my money and switch to the £5 deal. Very pleasant, very quick, and a great gesture. in fact i have always found the sales people really helpful.
