Fucking GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTT IN!!!!!!!!!

Can we have Sylla back on now!

Right.

I am signing off till full time. We only fuck up when I watch.

I posted that as Weimann hit the net. I did the same against Reading and West Ham.

I am taking full credit for today.

I actually think it is worse not listening or watching at all you know!

In all seriousness, thank you to the players for ramming the comments of gutless etc in the first half back at people. We were poor, but never gutless IMO, and both last and this week we have shown that.

Well done Villa, and well done Lambert, and thank God for Benteke!

That 6 minutes of injury time was pure torture. I'm sure the ref was trying to kill me.

It certainly was. My dog was getting very concerned about my mental well-being.

And where the hell did 5 minutes 35 seconds of injury time come from? That ref was a total shocker.

Jesus wept. I couldn't bear listening to it on the radio. I still spent the last two minutes of injury time pacing around my room counting down twominutes in my head!

Sounded like we could have been 4 down at half time and had completely frozen. Then second half it sounded like we were swarming all over them at times and at other times under the cosh.

Really hope that Sunderland and Wigan don't manage to draw this weekend. We've given ourselves some great breathing space but it's not over by any means. Two more wins from the last 8 games plus a draw or two and we should be ok I hope

Would be brilliant if it was Sunderland who went down

It's also probably the nail in their coffin.  Which will be a real shame...

Are you serious? I can't wait for them to fuck off back to the Championship.

I think there is more sarcasm heaped in Paul's post than I have in my 4 sugared tea in the mornings.

Beating that complete shit head is beautiful, just beautiful.

I reckon Harry will be dining out tonight with a Friend too. Fucking cheat.

I do like Sylla, he's very tidy in possession and gets around the pitch well.

When was the last time we won two league games on the bounce?

May 2011. Arsenal away and then Liverpool at home on the last day.

Just when I started seeing my bird.

He and Westwood give a good base. I would prefer Charlie in front of them than Barry, but he has more than played his part in the last 2 games.

I've realised that Lambert is fucking mental. He's attacking our way out of this mess. Good on him.

Guzan MoTM. Not even up for debate.

First half, no doubt whatsoever. Brilliant keeper and the type of performance we've come to expect from him.

Second half I thought Gabby, Vlaar, who had his best 45 minutes in a Villa shirt, were the stand out players. The determination and cutback by Weimann for Benteke, not to mention his snapshot goal, would also include him as a contender for MOTM.

Yes. Although those two games were pretty meaningless as we were already safe by then. Last time we won two important league games was Newcastle/West Ham I believe. GH's final two games for us.
