I'm pretty certain that we will not win another game this season. We could barely do it earlier in the season when there was less pressure and a tide of goodwill. Now we have the noose around the neck and there's no one to shoot through the rope and rescue us. We will finish dangling through the floor of the league.

2-2.

Would at least keep Reading below us and their next two after us are Man. United and Arsenal away so they would be as good as down imo.

Dunno if a draw will be enough in the final reckoning though, we would certainly have to beat QPR.

2-1 home win. As has been said before, our players simply aren't good enough. We deserved to go down last year and we're living on borrowed time.

Our players aren't good enough, yet a team who are below us in the table are. How does that work?

I'm delusional as we ARE staying up,...i will also be sleeping through this game, due to shifts, so when i awake, i will know what the score is by the reaction of my colleagues as i walk into the office.

0-3 Villa.

One point below us and playing at home, with a more experienced group of player, who will be, I feel at least, a lot more prepared for the challenge of survival.

They're below us yet we're the ones who need a miracle to stay up.

First goal (presuming there is one) is going to be massive in this game.  I thought Reading were the worst Premier League team I've seen at Villa Park this season, but have put in some decent performances at home.  It will be interesting to see how Lambert approaches this one, as it would make sense to play counter attack style football on Saturday.

Pogrebnyak will be missing this one due to suspension so they will be lightweight up front...if our back 4 can manage to not be crap for 90 minutes then we have a very good chance of taking all 3 points. Reading have lost their last 3 games, so they'll be desperate for some kind of result against us with their next fixtures against Man Utd and Arsenal.

I'd settle for a draw against Reading if we beat QPR but 3pts should put clear daylight between us and the bottom 2 if we can win both these games.

Let's not forget that Jason Roberts gave Clark a torrid evening in the game at Villa Park, so Pogrebynak missing might not be too much of a blow for them.

Torrid? They only very occasionally left their own half as I remember it.
