Blues fans are full of shit, they don't take a coach to their own fucking games
Apart from VP.30 coaches for a 6 mile round trip.

To be fair they do. The team coach. At least for this season. Next year when the financial pinch really kicks in it will be a Sunday league car share job.

Official statement

Quote
With so much potentially riding on this game, the DW Stadium Safety Officer, following consultation with the Greater Manchester and West Midlands Police, is concerned that a maximum allocation of nearly 5,000 tickets could provide a heightened safety risk which could rise to unacceptable levels.

Wigan Athletic have, therefore, offered us an initial allocation of 3,000 tickets which falls within Premier League guidelines.

This allocation has now sold out.

Results ahead of this game will be monitored and, should the circumstances surrounding this game change closer to May 19, Wigan Athletic will consider increasing our allocation to a similar number to that which has been offered to Tottenham Hotspur for this weekend's match.

BTW Mr Shin, we'll be scarpering at the final whistle, no matter what the outcome. No hanging around to celebrate or sob.

And yet Yanited, who had 230+ arrests last season, more than any club in English football, got allocated 5400 this season.

Its a moronic decision.

On Wigan O/S you can't get home tickets unless you have bought tickets for Wigan games this season. Unless more tickets issued me and the lad will be watching on TV despite being 10 miles from the ground.

Only just noticed that Wigan haven't even taken their full FA Cup Final allocation. Nothing to do with Villa but thought it was a mention.

This has Dave Whelan's smell all over it. If Man U were there with the title riding on it, do you think you'd have this nonsense?

Aye he is an odious gobshite. Time for his 3rd division outfit to head back down where they belong.

Lets us hope we win the next two and they lose the next two for all those without tickets. I am confident that come the game there will be 5399 other Villa fans standing in our end with me.

As he owns the club then yes, he probably has got something to do with such decisions. What's nonsensical about it? They've given us the allocation they have to, we would do exactly the same in their position so let's spare ourselves the double standards and hypocrisy.

Anyone else find it strange that there never seems to be any mention of the general arseholery of Yanited's away support in the media?

Why would SHA fans get tickets in the Wigan end if they're restricting home ticket sales to NW postcodes?

I think it's all a wind up tbh, I went last season expecting a half empty stadium and think the attendance was 21k so about 17k Wigan fans.

I can't believe they won't must 20k home fans for this.

Of course it's a wind-up. The only unbelievable thing about it is that we're still mentioning it.
