Fanfare played when Villa run out onto the pitch
« on: March 04, 2013, 05:45:30 PM »
Hi all,

I am getting married in April and really want to use the fanfare that is played to announce that the Villa players are about to walk out at Villa Park.

Do you know what this tune is?  I phoned Villa, but they kept saying "Escape by Craig Armstrong" - what i'm after is the actual trumpet sound type blast that signals that the players are about to walk out onto the hallowed turf.

I mega grateful to anyone that can help.

Up the Villa and fingers crossed we can somehow sneak a point against Man City.

Cheers,

Phil

Is it the same sound Ryanair use when they land on time in the middle of nowhere?

The fanfare dosen't get played anymore.

Dunno why we changed from Black Sabbath to Foo fighters either, thought they said at the start of the season they'd be a different walk out music every couple of games?

First time around I thought that was funny or at the very least mildly amusing. Wearing a bit thin now.

Personally I thought coming out to Hells Bells last season for a bit was the shit, would love to have that again.

Hi Bilsm,

That is exactly the one - you have made my day, thank you very much!

I'm really grateful - all I need to do now is try to copy it onto a USB stick.

Cheers,

Phil

I draw the line at that outrageous comment.  I am still at the Chilean Miners stage of my joke development plan.
