So is P8 £295 again or £325 ?
Any idea when the info will arrive by post ??

I had a horrible feeling that we were all assuming the £325 would apply to P8 etc but they may have reverted them to £500 odd. I have spoken to the TO and they confirm the seats are £325 and they mentioned early bird etc. I told them the advert was misleading but they won't listen. I think they expect us to go down and have charged us the extra £30 for the two additional home games, knowing we will pay it but daren't risk it with the more expensive seats.

DC5 I do think you are misunderstanding the clubs version.  When they released the "cheap" ST's last March in various areas of the stadium, all of them were sold at £295 as an early bird with the full price of £325 being charged after the expiry of the early bird period.  The fact was that P8 got snapped up immediately so when the £325 (full price) date arrived there were none left so nobody could buy one at £325.  The club have decided in their wisdom not to repeat the early bird discount this season but have frozen the price of the "cheap" ST's at last seasons full £325 price, simples!

Regardless, £325 is fantastic value compared to what the majority of teams in the top two divisions charge.

Moaning that the club has put up prices (in P8) from "ridiculously low" to just "still fairly low" seems like moaning for moaning's sake to me.

That's one way of looking at it. Another would be to say that in light of the new bumper TV deal, ANY price increase would be a piss take.

Assuming of course that we stay up. If we don't then any price increase to watch Championship football is also a piss take.

Indeed. Given that the new additional tv money equates to all of us getting in for nothing, and with the continuing financial uncertainty many still face, I'm a little annoyed that there's not been any kind of reduction. I'm not saying we should all get in for nothing, but just dropping prices back to those of, say, two or three years ago would've been welcomed by all, and might bring a fair few back into the matchday fold. It's not even as if our prices are driven up by supply and demand; full houses are sadly few and far between

We're not moaning about having to pay an extra £30, just trying to point out that prices have not been frozen as there are approximately 1,000 season tickets holders who have to pay more than last season.

Regardless, we'll no doubt trudge along to games again next season.

£325 is a great price assuming we stay up. I still feel a bit disappointed I'm not paying £295 though and my lads seat goes up 25% to £125.

Which bit of  'prices frozen' don't you understand. If somebody was to complain to the ASA/Trading Standards about misleading customers the club would have no one to blame but themselves.

Absolutely I agree with you but lets not forget that other ST holders last year saw a small price rise which arguably subsidised these cheap tickets albeit to a small extent.  Given this is it really too much to ask the £295 brigade to endure a £30 rise on an already very low price so that the rest of us can buy our ST's at last years price?

Mine was £530 last year and is the same this year. Some might argue that with inflation that's effectively a reduction of around 3%. Appreciate some feel that not having an early bird offer on the cheapo seats does not equate to a price freeze, but I think £325 is incredible value for a PL season ticket, given that a seat ST at Kiddie costs more than that

My guess is the club would argue that the price of the ST at £325 was frozen but the special early bird offer of last year was not available this year

That sounds perfectly sensible to me.

If you are paying more for your ticket next year than this year, then your price has clearly not been frozen, by any definition.
