I thought that £295 for P8 and other areas was for a limited time only - hence the "early bird" incentive. If you didn't get the offer you'd probably missed the deadline ?

I sincerely hope they run this again as we couldn't afford x2 @ £595 each.

I remember re-reading an old programme years ago. It had the ST prices for the 81/82 season. All home cup games were included in the price (which was something like £30). Not a bad year to have taken advantage.

I honestly think that if I told my dad how much I pay for a season ticket these days, he'd drop dead on the spot!

Will the club continue the massively reduced prices in section P8 for next season or even offer it in other sections?  I assume every seat in P8 is held by a ST holder?  If so what chance any of these seats becoming available for those of us who missed out last year?  Just seems a little unfair to other ST holders (particularly those 5 or 10 years plus) who couldn't get one last year if they continue the really cheap price in that section for next season.  Don't want to sound too much like a moaning git but just want a bit of balance and fairness applied for all ST holders.  Maybe a ballot for this section if available again next season?  Thoughts welcomed.

Those seats went on sale when a great deal of season ticket holders were threatening not to renew, sometime around March I think. Sorry to say but it was the early bird that caught the worm.

Absolutely and fair enough to those who managed to get one but I bet they were oversubscribed by a fair bit, they must have had more enquiries than seats that's fact because I tried but couldn't get one.  Anyway just out of interest as a holder of one of those seats are you expecting the renewal price to be the same in terms of them being the same percentage cheaper than other comparable tickets in the Doug Ellis or Trinity Road?

I moved from the Upper Holte to get this deal. I cheekily asked for a seat a couple of days before they went officially on-sale whilst I was in the ticket office and got one there and then. Pure luck. Great leg-room but I am on an aisle seat so can stretch out. There are plenty of empty seats in there by the way.

Sorry to go on with this but in reference to your answer that there are plenty of seats in there, I have just been on the ticketing site and according to them there is no availability in either P8 or P1 for any of the remaining home games that are on sale online.  So what's going on then?

My understanding was that they only offered £295 pricing in P8 and the block sold out pretty quick?

Disillusioned ST holders perhaps? I really have no idea.

Don't push it Lerner. I'm really not in the mood..

???? Please expand.

If we are relegated after Lerner declined the opportunity to make any meaningful contribution to helping our fight in the January transfer window I personally will be a very angry season ticket holder, and mood and loyalty will be far from enhanced if he has the nerve to raise prices next season.

If prices go up, we will revert to picking and choosing games based on the regular ticket offers and picking up cheap seats off Viagogo . Let's face it there's always going to be plenty of tickets spare.

We sit in the front row of P8 (there are four of us in our group) and the 3 or 4 seats next to us have only been occupied on 3 or 4 occasions.  I didn't think we were that rowdy. ;)

Those people saw that Legion was nearby and never returned

No I fully accept that and that's fine, its just a pity that it seems from earlier comments from ST holders in P8 that a significant number of persons who bought them in P8 have subsequently not bothered to turn up to the games, either that or they have tried to sell every match through viagogo at a profit!  Lets hope they don't renew next season and they become available again.

Or they know that the Upper Witton never sells out so just sit in the middle every game rather than P8. When my ST was Upper Trinity I often sat in other seats.

We have done that a few times this season.
Got a couple of mates in the middle.

Surprises me more don't buy the cheap wing seats and then just sit in the middle. I used to swap sides so as I was near the end we were attacking. Some matches it felt you had a choice of half the stand.

Eastie, at 5' 1 1/2" the leg room is fine.   :D

None of the other three in our group has complained and one is just under 6 foot.
