I dont understand why Bowery was on the pitch....just dont understand Lamberts thinking.

Personally I thought him, Lowton and Charles linked up well on the right although maybe over elaborated. He also helped at set pieces and gave Lowton some cover. When West Ham broke from our corner in the first half, Bowery ran the player down.

I thought West spam were awful, They came for a draw and got what they deserved. 

To be honest they didn't even deserve that goal and I was hoping we might get a clean sheet.

Great decision by the ref for the penalty. It was like going top of the league, winning today. I am delighted for N'Zogbia that there was nobody else on the pitch ready to snatch the ball off him for the free kick.

Brad and the team can defend. Not against Westwood - but as long as he doesn't make a habit of it, they should do better from now.

I can't believe some prats want Allardyce as manager. They were as anti-football today as Stoke have ever been. They have one plan, lump it towards Carroll/Nolan, close eyes and hope something happens. I'd rather shit razor blades every day than watch that shite week in week out.

I'm sure Bowery was on to give us extra height, especially from corners and set pieces, as we know how WH play, and we also know how we defend them

if you read the pre match thread some were shitting in there own pants at the thought of what Nolan and Carroll were going to do to us, ripping us to pieces and tearing us a new arsehole were only two of the options,

However they both turned out to be dog shit, and so the need for Bowery was negated somewhat,
But you can't blame Lambert for thinking he might be useful, even though in the end he wasn't needed

It was a good win. What the team needs now is the fans to play a positive role. The relegation scrap generates nerves and these young players need the confidence to believe that they can get away from the danger zone. A clean sheet would be nice and would be something to build on. Is Dunne close to getting back?

The atmosphere was good today. The fans still believe despite the garbage we've watched for most of the season.

And for anyone who has doubted how much they care they should have seen Weimann after his miss. Or Guzan after our goals, he celebrated more than some of the people around me. Or the way Lowton reacted after their goal, like a captain. And mainly, at the final whistle. They do care.

I doubt he has got what it takes to make it in this league - but today he made the most of his limited ability & experience and did the best he could. He fully deserved the applause when he went off for his commitment and effort.  He looked better today as he was playing against Wet Spam who have a team full of championship players.
