The picture half way down on the right is worse.

Just to add insult.

Don't know why I want too, but is there any highlights available anywhere of last nights game?

Brian's rousing and impassioned post is exactly the kind of thing I'd love to hear from our self-styled fans' spokesmen and fanzine editors but never do. It's the uncomfortable and uncompromising truth.

Brian, have you ever been invited to any fan meetings with the club, and have you ever had the chance to deliver your heartfelt views in person?

Both teams should be banned from next years Cup for crimes against football.

Language, please. I think it's fairly self explanatory and it's a fair comment. I've never heard the nail being hit so firmly and truly on the head by those who claim to represent the fans in the media, or by the editors of any fanzines.

When has Dave ever claimed to represent the fans in the media?

I think that's a bit out of order.

This made me laugh. Either sarcasm doesn't work well on banners, or it's further evidence that care in the community is not working.

I think emotions are running high and people are on short fuses - we are all frustrated and angry , brians post was for me an excellent summary but i havent had any reason to criticise dave for anything .

Last night was our nadir, the end of a long cycle that started 26 years ago.

In twenty years time, when we are back in the top six, we will talk about this game in sage tones that the younger ones, who will have never had it so good, wont quite coprehend.

Villa till I die.
