I dont want to see the same side come out second half.

I don't want to see the second half. Watching Villa is really dispiriting.

Never a penalty in a million years but they deserve to be in front: they've made all the running, look lively, inventive and up for it.  We look awful.

Maybe Randy doesn't want to invest in new players this January because his patience with Lambert is wearing thin and doesn't want to give money to a manager who he thinks might not have much time left.

Wonder if Halsey had a big shit-eating grin on his face as usual when he blew for the penalty?

He did. You all know my view, but we will not win a game with Halsey as the ref. 15 years he has been fucking Villa up the arse, he ain't going to stop now the c***. Sorry, the man gives us fuck all. It was about a foot clean air between the dive and Stevens leg.
Agree you just know if he is the ref he will do what he has just done.

Hopefully Lambert will give them as kick up the arse. We're only down to a dodgy penalty and not out of it yet.

...Who am I kidding.

as Lambert got a clue?    I am starting to worry about this bloke

If he thinks that he needs to sack him, now.

He has two choices, as clichéd as they are, back him, or sack him. Dithering between them and keeping the manager with no funds will see us relegated, guaranteed.

What worries me is the near total lack of fight. A bit of fire and passion isn't ever going to replace quality, but it should be a minimum.

That was fifteen decent minutes followed by thirty minutes of utter crud. Southampton look totally comfortable.

Not only do we need reinforcements this month, we need quite a lot of them, and they need to be fucking good, because this just looks like a whole side of teenagers way, way out of their depth.

I can't believe anyone - even our fucking clueless absentee owner and the blond boy wonder - thinks there is enough quality in this squad to avoid the drop.

It reminds me of 86-7, match after match of just looking second best, and uninterested, too.

Poor half , being outplayed by a poor team , sloppy defending led to the penalty which obviously wasnt a pen , but we created the problem.

Not an effort on target , dismal dire stuff indeed.
Lowton looking really poor again today , little to be positive about except that its only 0-1.
