We'll almost certainly concede. We might score. Draw.

If Vlaar is back, why not push Clark into defensive midfield role with a fit Westwood and let the forward players do the business?

If Vlaar is fit, I would be tempted to go 4-4-2 with Gabby and Holman out wide and asked to help their full backs out, Vlaar and Baker in the middle, Clark left back, Westwood and Delph in the middle and Benteke and Weimann up top.

Sorry Ozz mate but Clark is not a left back. I can't say i'm totally convinced by him at centre half either but less so at full back.

Well we need a solution at left back. I'd even stick Delph there. But not Stevens, Bennett or Lichaj.

I expect us to beat Southampton at home, but then I also expected us to beat Wigan at home and Bradford away.

To stay up, we have to rely on there being three worse teams than us, so Southampton doing the double over us will be a kick in the nuts.

Can't we just go to the localB&Q, buy a load of breeze blocks and just block our goalmouth up for this game ? Doesn't look like we will sign anybody at the moment and Lerner would be happy with the expense of a few bricks >:(

Agree with you clamps, I see him as a defensive midfielder personally.

So long a Delph is nowhere near the team, I'd be happy.

If (!!!) Vlaar is back, then he comes in and Clark goes into midfield and replaces the useless cretin that is Delph.

If he's not, then I'd prefer PL played instead of Delph. I even think Doug could do a better job than Delph.

We will not keep a clean sheet.

Strangely enough, I feel pretty confident of a win.
2-1.
