Is Herd available?  get him back in the midfield alongside Westwood, and lets get some points

Out for several weeks!

Hearing Vlaar and Westwood are available has cleared the knott in my stomach.

Serves you right for eating a wicket-keeper

Ha ha!

I'll go for a hard earned and nervy 1-1 ,but being honest i fear another Wigan. We can't defend and we can't score ,so until we bring some new faces in ,it's hard to see anything changing.

I'd have Zog in, he may be a bit headless at times but the last couple of games he's looked more dangerous than anyone else.

Best player by far on Tuesday, reminded me of his Wigan days.

I was suprised how much stick zog got on Tuesday . Yes everything didnt come off but he was our best player by miles and looked our only threat .

N'Zog's looked a lot sharper since he's been back but he needs to look up a bit more often and play the ball when there's someone available rather than try and take on two players and lose the ball. He needs to stay out wide a bit more often as well. He kept drifting into the middle on Tuesday in the first half, unless he was instructed to.

He will be crucial in the return leg against Bradford.  Don't recall him getting to much stick though.

I hope he's getting a bit of form because we need that right now.

Yes I thought that as well. Quite encouraging in fact.
and as we have not heard anything about Darren Bents injury I assume it was not serious and he will be playing tommorrow

I’d go with a more traditional 4-4-2 to try and offer Stevens (my choice) and Lowton a bit more cover, with N’Zogbia wide on the left and Holman wide on the right. I’d give them licence to drift central and keep some fluidity to the attacks. Holman also having an obligation to press.

The Big Dog would replace Bannan in the middle, with Andi and Benteke up top.

Vlaar would be straight back into the line up for me at the expense of Clarke, who I think has dipped a great deal. He’s far too loose when it comes to marking.
