But let's look at the positives about last night.

I had a fantastic curry.

Thing is, that will be through your system before midday today. This defeat will reverberate for years, it's another Doncaster moment.

All credit to Bradford, they showed up and played, we let it happen. In a way I'm glad because hopefully it will give this lot the absolute kick up the arse they thoroughly deserve.

We have had plenty kicks up the arse lately and seem little reaction.

Perhaps if there was a deduction from their hugely inflated pay packets it would produce a reaction? They get win bonuses so why isn't there the opposite equivalent where they lose pay for a series of shite results?

For the first time,I am now worried about the possibility of relegation. Especially as this result comes just before another 6 pointer against one of our relegation rivals.

It's not a kick up the arse they need............they (and Lambert) are not good enough.  It's clear for all to see.

I was too angry to post last night, I'm not much happier this morning, what a waste of money, £20 coach, £25 ticket, beer and something to eat, I'd rather have set fire to my cash, everyone at Aston Villa needs to have a good hard look at themselves, It starts with randy and it goes all the way through, Fucking rotten to the core, I'm not fucking arsed about wembley I just hope we can stay up, bennett, Bannan and Delph should NEVER play for us again

Had all day working in a boiling, hot warehouse in 40c as staff called in sick - and I was already in a foul mood after the lovely start to the day that those overpaid, overrated wankers provided us all.

Thank God no one I work with has any clue about football.  I pity you lot I really do.
You'll be pleased to know I was in a nice air conditioned office today, but it was still painful to bear.
After the shit result I received a number of piss taking texts, including one of those Nigel Kennedy, prince William, Nigel spink:  your boys, etc etc. ones. Brought a glimmer of a smile to me on the train. The low point was being avoided by the man u supporter I normally have a yarn to, who was clearly so embarrassed for me he couldn't bring himself to come over and take the piss.

Fkin wheels are well and truly falling off now hey?

Still got a chance to turn it round in a couple of weeks time, but I doubt you'd see lambert staring out the journos and saying would you bet against us.

Woeful and embarrassing.

I have no idea of the formation Lambert is trying to play . I didn't on Saturday and again last night.

He chops and changes all the time - obviously has no idea of his best personnel or formation .

I think we are gone .

Decided not to comment last night & have given myself time to think before posting an ill written rant. Well after calming down all I can say is WHAT A LOAD OF SHIT, PLAYERS NEED TO PULL THEIR SOCKS UP OR EVERY ONE OF THEM CAN PISS OFF!!!

Agree, although he's probably unlucky to lose his key players like Dunne, Vlaar, Westwood and now likely Bent again to injury. I can't believe that a couple of experienced defenders haven't already been signed to shore up this shit defence. That Chelsea defeat in particular has destroyed their confidence and the young players need to be taken out the firing line, although I think the damage to some of them mentally is already beyond repair. Sort it Lerner!!

The worst thing for me last night was how for the whole second half the tactics seemed to be only to hit it long and pick up the scraps, and when we didn't, we were wide open on the counter.

I'm now very worried.

I'm starting to think we may have appointed another crap manager.
Last night confirmed it, same errors cost us goals again. Do they practicehow to defend set pieces & crosses at Bodymoor Heath?
