The Villa team are in the hotel I am staying in. The Marriott Hollins Hall. Seen few of the boys pacing around the lobby and in spa suite. The Coach ( not Culverhouse) is ready in the car park.
I'm so used to being let down by villa that I'm semi-braced for some form of absolute humiliation! I worry that for our kids this is the biggest game of their career and they'll freeze, especially at the back. And to be fair they have a bit of recent form for that!

Left my kit at home. Anyway I have my very own nice vehicle to transport me to to the ground ...well a car park somewhere close.
Looking out they are loading the kit now ...based on your encouragement I am going to slip on and sit on the back seat and wait for team to board. Been told they will leave at 5.30.Just rehearsing my speech now based on 1970 semi final second leg performance. I have pictures of Andy Lochhead and Pat McMohan to show them. Not going to mention anything about first leg at Tranmere or Bolton.
I can see the ground beaming light from my hotel wndow, a lovely sight. It must be a good 15min walk. So I'm off now for a bite to eat and to find a pub to guide my posse to.
