They are on a very good run and will be up for this one; we are difficult to beat but ultimately not very good at present so I see 0-0 at 90 minutes and that fat bastard Grant Holt to get the winner in extra time

Would like to see Given, Ireland and Bent given a run out and N'Zogbia if fit

We'll win this one...they'll be all caught up in the "Lambert return, stick it to him" hype, whilst Benteke and Bent dismantle them over 90 mins...1-3 Villa

0-4 away win

Westwood 24
Bannan 43
Lichaj 68
Bent 76

They way we're playing we wont score 4 goals all season

They're better at scoring goals than us - a Norwich win and the start of a tricky and frustrating Christmas period for us.

Don't think we will be victorious in this.  Presume Given, Bent, El Hamadi, Delph etc will play.
However I will not be too downhearted if we lose, we have a greater battle to win this season and extra cup matches may well impede this.

either 1-0 Norwich in a drab game or 5-4 Norwich in a classic

Im not sure If they change their teams much for cup games .

No, Sky have chosen to show Bradford v Arsenal so no live tv coverage.  There will be highlights on the BBC's League Cup show on Wednesday night though.

I've gone for a Villa win on pens.  Both teams will make changes and it's a cup match so I don't think the form book can be relied upon.

The way we're playing, I can't see us scoring never mind winning. How depressing
