Surely we stick with the 4231 especially away from home? I would brim in Ireland for weimann and play Holman on the right. And hope that Vlaar is back. We just about coped at the back yday but we could really do with some more experience back there. I think this will be a tough game. QPR have some good, physically strong players. A draw would be a good result for us. But it I winnable

If only QPR had kept Hughes for just 3 more games. Arry will use all of his wiley ways to win this.

A boring as fuck 0-0, which, I would take right now.

If I was gaffer, I'd pick this team.

Guzan

Lowton
Clark
Baker
Stevens (or Lichaj)

Agbonlahor
Westwood
Ireland
Bannan

Benteke
Bent

Play Benteke and Bent up top, with Gabby giving us a wide option on the right, and Bannan on the left. Westwood and Ireland in the middle. We'd win if we played that.

Agree with that time. Gives the options of over the top to Benteke, and for Bannan to and Ireland to play balls through to Bent.

Agree with that Matt.  We could really do with 4 points from the next 2 games, but they are both going to be tough.

With the Redknob bounce factor this will be a tougher game than it would have been if Hughes was still there. They've got some decent players (Taarabt, Cisse, Hoilet for starters) and will see us as a chance to get their first win on the board a la Southampton. Things seem to be conspiring against us a bit but if we show the same energy as against Arsenal and Manu we'll get a point. 2-2

QPR win - new manager, first home game, Villa won't win a second game in a row, although I'd like to be surprised.

0-7 (seven)

Start of our surge towards mid-table obscurity.

Villa win, has to be I switched off sky this morning what with the endless wanking over Redknapp's 0-0 draw with the mighty sunderland, Ooh the great escape is on and the analysis of the formation and a camera virtually fucking watching him on the bench, I hate the fucking bastard rubber fat faced ******

On Radio 5 last night they were raving about the physical presence of the QPR midfield (the names of whom Redknapp could not even remember).

Will Westwood and Bannan get out-muscled on Saturday ?

This could go either way.  Either we'll be on the receiving end of a Twitchy inspired first win, or it'll be a draw.  I can see Cisse causing our defence a few problems, so am going 1-1.  4 points from the two games won't be a bad return, subject to what goes on around us.

Good point, and this is the route I think Droopy will go for the rest of the season.  Pack the midfield with powerful athletic types, like he did at Portsmouth.

2-0 to the hooped ones from West Laandarn. As much as we're a work in progress we just haven't got much quality (or we choose not to play the PL quality that we do have - for whatever reason??) and look very much like  a Championship team. It's gonna be long hard season, I'm strapping myself in for the bumpy ride ahead.

It'll be a tough game. I'd bring Ireland in for Holman, Albrighton in for Weimann and a place for Bent on the bench would be nice.
