Assuming we do sell him, what do we reckon would be a fair price?

£15 million I reckon. We would not have to pay all the add ons either, so guess Sunderland would lose out too.

Trouble is you knew from the rumblings that Warnock, Dunne and Collins made things tough for GED. Nothing but denials and all is fine has been said about Bent. I just get the feeling he has already asked for a move, and Lambert won't pick a player, even for the bench, he does not think is 100% committed.

If that is the case what would you do in Lambert's position? It's a tough one.

I think I would still pick him over Bowery, without being harsh on the kid.

I hope that's right because if Lambert is behind it then it's a very big call to say 'We don't need him' and he'll find himself under a lot of pressure.

For me it would depend on what attitude Bent was showing in training etc, and that's the big thing we don't know.

If he wants out, then surely the team talk to him is simply go, score, get your move away.

In theory but not if he's proving a negative influence. As I said, a tough choice and one i'm glad I don't have to make.

Yes more solid midfiled but I do not understand why there is not space for Holman in the starting XI. In lambert I trust, though.
