We're showing good resilience in the cup and Norwich are pretty poor, we will have learnt how to handle them after that terrible game last Saturday.

Norwich only scored when we had 10 men on the pitch and I'd go as far as saying that was one of the worst performances this season. They can't handle Benteke

Didn't we beat Wolves at home in a quarter in either 94 or 96?  Tommy Johnson scored the winner in front of the Holte iirc?

I imagine the tv will concentrate on arsenal & Chelsea
Better for us if we stay beneath the radar

The Chelsea match is the following week due to them being involved in the World Club Challenge (so will play Leeds midweek before playing us!).  Therefore, if there are 2 television slots they only have 3 games to pick from, and I would imagine Bradford's match will be one of them.

Let's relive the 84 game. Massive following, comfortable victory, the last hurrah of the Villa arse slasher (I think).

We went early in the morning and spent all day in an unattended snooker hall helping ourselves to the bar and emptying the fruit machines.

It says a lot about the age of the average football hooligan in those days that the anarchy only stopped for half-an-hour when Grange Hill came on the telly.

8.05am train out of New Street - pub by 12.15 until 2.45 (remember afternoon closing ?) then walking down the street wondering how to kill some time to be invited to a 'beer tasting' in some side street hotel (where one of the market researchers remarked that one of our party had "had quite enought already") before back to the pub and then a top result. All capped off by blagging a lift home on one of the coaches last train having long gone.
Oh to be 19 again.

Why would there be 2 television slots? Did sky show 2 Rd 4 games?
