Easy draw. See no reason why we wouldn't win. Planning fr semi final now.

And let's stop all this talk of fixing too ffs.  It's clearly not fixed for Sky 4 clubs to get easy draws - look at the round just gone.  It's just random.

Absolutely.

It's hard to believe anyone really thinks it is fixed, having just watched the previous two hours or so on Sky Sports.

We won at Man City in this competition already.

Of course we can go and win at Norwich.

Lest we forget, we are currently shite, and Norwich couldn't beat us despite us being so grim, and playing a chunk of the game with 10 men.

I am as worried as the next man about our shiteness, but really, defeatism over a cup draw away at Norwich City?

A bit of spine please, gents.

My current pessimism is based on our record there. I'd have felt the same if we were 20 points clear at the top and Norwich were bottom of the Conference and we drew them in the FA Cup.

Might they put on the jinxed free coaches for this? 3rd time lucky?

I'd say the oil companies are in control of the draw, there's some big Diesel/Petrol bills for the travelling fans in those ties.  Chelsea's trip to Leeds the only one I'd have any faith in there being even a chance of getting there and back on a train midweek.

It could have been worse. There'll be an extra spice to the game that will ensure we'll take it seriously. I'm happy enough with that.

We were terrible against Norwich and had ten men for a long time. And they still could not beat us. We can beat them with a full team and a different approach. Fairly happy with that .....

Out of the 7 clubs we could have got, I'd say Norwich would have been my my fourth choice.  Away doesn't help but we've been to tougher places and won.  Reasonably content with it.

Absolutely right Nuts! 50/50 draw and we are away from home. You have to do these things if you want a trip to Wembley.

We've only played there twice in the last 15 years plus, and drawn one, lost one.

Not the best of records, admittedly, but we could have been looking at a tie with Chelsea or Arsenal right now.

I'd also rather go and play away at Norwich than Leeds. I can see PL getting us pumped for that one, whereas Leeds would just be like last night, except with a more elevated chance of cacking it up.

It's not the easiest tie, but it's not really daunting.

What sort of team did Norwich play against Spurs tonight? Full strength?

I did. I thought only chelsk & arse had been free. Even better if the free coaches aren't jinxed! I think its the best way of getting a good level of support over there midweek.

Could be worse.

And to me, it'still the league cup, I don't care what mickey mouse sponsorship its got, that's just another sign of how the moneymen have polluted our wonderful game.

Here's a question - how many different names has it had over the years?

God, I'm a grumpy old git.
