Seems we've got another "yes-man" as manager. If Lambert's happy to go with the current players on the strength his job is safe, he should look at what happened to the last guy in the hot-seat and he managed to keep us up!  He should ask for money and if not forthcoming, walk away with a bit of his reputation intact, because if he takes us down he won't be getting offered the Forest job next or anything like it. Sadly i don't think he's got the bollocks to stand up to our owner.

Ok so he plays for the knuckledraggers and this will cause laughter from some but just heard Curtis Davies is up for grabs - is he worth another go?  From what I've seen he's played well for Blues and can only imagine his wage demands have priced him out of a new contract. I always rated him before he popped his shoulder and fell out with MON.

With Baker out, Vlaar's ongoing problems, Dunne's continued absence we only have one fit central defender in Ciaran Clark. That's not enough especially as Ciaran seems to pick up a yellow card most weeks - this would be an affordable experienced defender and with Vlaar and Davies at the back we would also have the option to move Clark into midfield.

Clearly we are not doing that. Even the most cynical of us would have to agree that deliberately relegating the club makes absolutely no sense in any way shape or form.
My guess is that Lambert and his scouts are simply unable to find the required players given the constraints put upon him by Lerner and Lambert. The club have clearly decided to continue down this ludicrous Ajax route and our precipitous position does not seem to be swaying it one iota.
I honestly think that their belief in Lambert combined with arrogance and aloofness is the reason why it’s quieter than church mouse.
