The guy sacked at wolves had a  managerial  record that dwarfs OGS and he was next to useless.
I don't think that Solskjær had relegated his side the previous season.

And what league was he managing in? Bundesliga weren't it? A few steps up from OGS. TSM and Billy McNeil wouldn't have any relegations on their CV if they'd stayed in jockland i reckon
Quite probably, but that doesn't mean that his record is 'dwarfed' as you put it. Unless you mean that it's a long career of good and bad stuff rather than a short career of just good stuff.

All of Solbakken's major achievements are in the Scandinavian leagues. Presumably his successes there are what dwarves Solskjaer's er... successes in the Scandinavian leagues?

I'd imagine it's as you were for tomorrow. Signing a player on a Friday when you play on the Saturday almost never happens.

Day 17. Nobody. Home win for the Baggies, then. Great.

Just because the potential appointment of OGS was an adventurous one doesn't mean it would have been a successful one. Venglos was an example of how taking risks doesn't work. It's easy to say that it would be hard to do worse than Lambert because at the moment it's true. With 2 or 3 additions & some luck with injuries we will be OK. But it will be close, much too close for a club like ours.

Villa might win. I would love it if they did. The odds are heavily against it and the manager is doing fuck all about that.

Or the chairman is doing fuck all about it. One day the story is money is there to spend, another there is no money to spend. Until we do or don't buy anyone, we don't know the true story.

I think transfer activity will heat up in last week. Thats when the deals are done esp in last 48hrs.. Ins and potential shifting of outs may happen after we make these late signings.. Lets be patient my lovelies i feel 'the one or two' we get will see us stay up ! :)

If we wait till the last few days, we could be 6 points from safety, rock bottom of the league.

With our goal deifference that's effectively 7 points.

i agree, i also think that trying to get the right man is also the right way to do it instead of just going to buy any old twat because they are 27 or above.
