Di matteo is a significantly worse manager than Lambert in my opinion.

Mine too. As I said further up the solution to our problems really is very simple. It requires four/five quality experienced players across the defence and midfield, with a much better focus on defending with the coaching.

Not excited in the slightest dave, the prospect of di matteo if it happened would hardly be the greatest thing , but the main thing is that we stay in this division and as regards the afore mentioned twitter poster , he is no longer on my following list .

If its that simple then why hasn't he done it?
From his interview last week he said he still firmly believes his policy of recruitment is the right one and experience guarantees nothing.

This should have been a focus from the day PL took over.He knew we were shit last season and we have continued to be even more shit this season.Nowhere near enough experience bought into the defence in the Summer.Only one person to blame there

We need a good coach to show them how to defend, set pieces like corners especially.

Wasnt his head coach culverhouse  a central defender himself? Can't see him changing that .

Lambert is the worst manager we've had in over 30 years, how on earth would RDM do any worse?

Norwich conceded shitloads too, defence is not his strongest point .

It is that simple, if the manager doesn't realise it it's his issue. However it is the solution to the problem, and it is very simple.

I take your point but if the manager doesn't realise it then surely is something not wrong ?  This is a crucial month in our season , why have we not had signings lined up when we have known for weeks where the problems lie or is there a reason that we haven't spent money?

Has randy got doubts in his mind whether this manager is the right man to take us forward?

And why the silence over Vlaar? Embarrassed they've bought a busted flush? I hope not.

We knew that last season. The fact that it hasn't been adressed is appalling

I want a manager who would get us results. I'm sick of us being shite.

I wouldn't want him. He MAY be able to tempt ageing Chelsea stars to join us but that's all.

I am coming round to the view that for one season of his managerial career Paul Lambert got lucky. Last season with Norwich in the Prem. The rest of his career is pretty average, and that is in the lower leagues. He has now been found out, and I think he realises it.
