Code of conduct?
« on: September 30, 2012, 08:00:21 PM »
I was approached after the game today by an extremely angry Villa fan and his equally annoyed (I assume) girlfriend. He went on at length about being ejected from the Upper North Stand after singing and celebrating our equaliser. He was insistent that I added this incident to H&V for discussion.

It's best to tell them to make a complaint through the proper channels.

I did, but he also asked for it to be mentioned here.

There are 2 sides to a story. I'd like to hear the Stewards version as if it were for singing & celebrating after a goal then most of the crowd would be vunerable for ejection??

It's pretty difficult to discuss it without knowing the context or reasons.

If, as he says he was ejected for "singing and celebrating our equaliser" then I'd agree that it's dreadful. But having seen countless thousands of fans "singing and celebrating" in the past, I'd be pretty surprised if the stewards involved would give that as their reason for his ejection.

Could he not do it himself?
