PL must of upset The Fonz. He scored a brace tonight for Blackpool. On the bench for Southampton :-))

'...must have...' not '..must of...'

Bad grammar.

Oh go on then you scamp, I'll play along; "David O'Leary was righ....." ;)

I have been thinking something similar myself to be honest, but after the Everton game money was spent and Lambert got the players he wanted. So now we have to be patient. Oh well.

Quick look on their forum, they seem to think their left-back Fox if shite.

Should be Ramirez's home debut though.

If that's the case then we should put Warnock in a cardboard box and leave it outside the ground after the match. With any luck they won't post him back.
And Hutton, please.

Dan Fox is shite, their back 5 is the major weak link really so we will get chances so I think Bent will get off the mark here.

I'm hearing that Adkins will be sacked if they lose this.

Saints have lost all their games but they've created chances in all of them so this will be a good gauge of how our defence is looking.

I think it will be 2-2 which I wouldn't be too unhappy with as I think we'll beat WBA at VP after this one.

I am fairly confident 99% of the people on here are interested in the comment rather than the grammar. But i will write it out a 100 times and have it on your desk for the morning Mr Bridge :-)

He's "unattached" while his "representative" is "circulating" his name among "blue chip franchises". He's probably killing time with Nigel Reo Coker playing pool in some back-street boozer in Darwen.

Best villa side since the early 1980s? After two good performances?

Hmmm, I thought I had a tendency to exaggerate but that's a whole new level right there!

There's a difference between one match against a struggling newly promoted team, and a 38 game league season for which you need a decent squad.

And besides, the squad we've got is easily good enough to not just avoid relegation but could and probably should finish top 10.

Anybody else of the opinion that you could give Lambert any random group of 25 professional players and he'd make a decent team/squad out of them within a few months?
