Apt to post this on a Rugby thread, Football has overtaken Rugby as the most popular played sport in New Zealand.

It's about time... :D :D

Based on what measure? I bet more tun up to the next ABs games than the next AWs

Based on the number of people playing the game. The post did say the most popular played sport.
Will be interesting to see what sort of crowds the AW's get, last time they were here in NZ they had big crowds.

Nice to see Welsh get a win at the weekend, hopefully they won't be quite such a soft touch as people were predicting.

Can't remember seeing seeing 2 draws in a weekend too often.

I don't like Worcester but that is mainly because I work with a number of their fans. Very hit and miss from Glaws so far this season.

Yeah, I'm a little disappointed with glaws so far, I expected them to be much more willing to run the ball than they have been, seems like the nerves from the end of last year haven't been shaken off yet.

the big one. This is the sort of game we need to win to get HC next season. I'm excited and a little nervous in equal measure.

Interesting season so far this year, I'm foremost a saints fan so I'm very happy with their start.  Gloucs (as my other team) have recovered well from losing at home on the opening day and look quite free-flowing again this year, I'm hoping they both make the play-offs (along with quins who also play the right way to develop players for the international side)

Sarries continue to be my most disliked team, really want them to miss out on the playoffs this year to show that the percentage based tripe they play isn't a long term route to success.

Irish and Sale have started badly, which is a shame as both have decent squads with good youngsters but they seem to be lacking a bit of leadership.

Looking forward to the gloucs game tomorrow, usually a good fixture to watch.

Really looking forward to Heineken Cup starting up - Quins vs Biarritz on the sat and Toulouse vs Leicester on the sunday is 2 very tasty fixtures on the opening weekend and Leinster away on their first appearance in it for Exeter is about as harsh as it gets.

The chances of Glos being top 4 are similar to villa getting to the CL.

annoying that its difficult getting any Moseley info on the beeb website. Anyway, currently watching Sale - Leicester. easy 2nd half for Leicester.

Phew 16 10 but should have been more. Glos robbed of a try by the touch judge late on. Alway nice to see the fancy Dans going back down the A46 with their tails between their legs. God crowd too c16k.

I completely disagree, I think it's a push as tigers, saints and quins will get 3 of the spots but I think glaws can sneak 4th from sarries bonus points will be important this year I think and glaws will get the 4 tries a lot more often than sarries (as will quins, tigers and saints)

Bad result for saints yesterday, looked like a team expecting to stroll to a 5 point win.

I was possibly exaggerating a bit but top4 would be an achievement, top 6 a necessity.

Stourbridge are still on maximum points in their attempts to get back to National League 1. Stuffed everyone so far.

We could take in a local away later this season with them if anyone fancies it?
