I don't know why, but I detest Alan Pardew.

This. Can't really explain why though.

I think it's the unfounded arrogance.  But it could be other things too.

this. It amazed me when he publicly ruled himself out of the vacant England managers position. Like he was ever considered.

Also annoyed me how he acted after pushing the linesman. I reckon he'd have been a lot less jokey about it if an opposition player had done that to him.

I wonder if he has a PA called Lynne...

Aha.

Lowton looks a composed fella on the ball doesn't he? Lichaj doesn't!

In fairness, Eric is a right back not a left back!

I think PL has told them to play with fire up their ass, could do with a bit more patience in the final third. Somewhere between this performance and the West Ham one could do it.

Holman looks like the whole game is passing him by at the minute, hopefully he just needs a few games under his belt to adjust to life in the EPL.

Maybe Holman needs to be a super sub. Looked pants in his 2 starts, looked good in his sub appearance.

Listening on WM and they can't stop praising his work rate.

I still can't say with any certainty what exactly Holman's position is, but I do think he works very hard for the team, he pops up all over the pitch and chases back very well. He also does seem to have a decent eye for a pass from time to time. Those are qualities that may well keep him in and abuot the first team, I reckon.

Should be 1-1, sloppy defending there.

Lichaj looks suspect to me at left back.  Not his position I know.

Holman is high on endeavour but looks a little rough and ready on the ball.

Combine him and Ireland then and you might have a great player!
