Can I also point out the importance of this game. Swansea at home, for the second season in a row, comes at the most opportune time. Last season we beat Chelsea away and then were meekly battered by Swansea at VP and spurned the chance to kick on. This season, a win and we can take that confidence into the Southamption game and hopefully get 4-6 points out of the 2 games and show what we are all about. Massive game for the same reason as last. Different manager, different mentality. Lets hope a different response.
My team, now considering the Newcastle performance would be;-------------------Guzan----------------------Lowton----Vlaar---Clark----Bennett-----------------------KEA---------------------------------Ireland-----Holman-----------------------------Agbonlahor------------------------------Bent--------Benteke---------Subs; Given, Baker, Bannan, Delph, Lichaj, Westwood, Wiemann.I know that is an awfully attack minded line up, but its about time we stopped fannying around and stamped our authority on Villa Park and send out a message to the rest of the Prem, Everton was a one off!As well I think Holman's energy yesterday was fantastic, Gabby looked quick as ever when he came on and Karimel was class. Pace, Power and attacking intent!
