Very good side indeed. We'll get no time on the ball like last week. Trouble right now is it's a case of men against boys. We're lacking the experienced head, especially in the middle, who can try and re-take hold of the game.

An early goal against us was just about the last thing we needed.  All the confidence will go out of the window.  If Lerner doesn't stump up for new players, we're in for a long, hard season.

As I said on the transfer thread yesterday.

We are now depending on Lambert being an MON type 'getting the best from average players' type manager.

We're playing with two wide players and two forwards and it's not bloody working. Zog needs to stop going wide.

Fucking hell we're playing Everton here? Men against boys, God help us when we play any of the top 5.

If CN'Z was a goat he would be staked out and sacrificed for the common good.

Not watching but wonder if Bannan can handle the physical presence of the opponent...

Agree, someone like Nzonzi would be a useful bit of presence there. Not sure what formation we are playing and it seems the players dont either. Centre back partnership looks shaky too. Poor effort of a block by Vlaar for the goal

Everton look good don't they? We look crap in central midfield. We don't have one central midfielder who really knows what it takes int the epl. That such a risk
