Had a fabulous left foot. I wish him nothing but the very best in his battle, and if the Everton fans do a minute of applause in the 11th minute, I would be honoured to join in.

That's a real shame, he was a good player was Sheedy, in a very good Everton Team.

Not sure if the fans are going to carry on with the 19th minute clapping for Petrov, but a one-off 11th minute clapping for Sheedy against Everton would be great for the atmosphere and for Villa to show their appreciation for a great professional.

Hope everything goes well for him.  He was a terrific player in his day.

I'm obviously biased but I've always thought both Villa and Everton fans had a bit of class about them so it'd be nice to show it together tomorrow.
