Its only usually the team that goes on to win the title that has 40 points at Christmas!!

League 11th

League Cup: early exit to lower league opposition where PL has it confirmed that there is still much to do with the rebuilding of our squad and goes to RL begging for major investment in January

FA Cup: Pre January investment and a 3rd round exit away to top 6 side

The season after is when it all happens for us

Isn't it simply incredible the way one managerial appointment can transform a whole club's psychology?

Most of us know we will be doing well to make the top ten this season, but we all seem certain that this will just be the start of a journey. We just know that villa are again going places. After two years of making up the numbers and lacking direction we seem like a transformed club.

It's great!

10th in the league
cups - who knows, it's a lottery.

I just want to see some positive football and some progress.

Great to see some positive yet realistic forecasts on here.  What a change.
