I think we'll surprise a few teams because we will attack, but we'll also be a bit vunerable until the new backline beds in.

But with the renewed intent, and a young and commited side the place will be buzzing again, and we'll finish strong.

And win the FA Cup, of course.

I'm not as confident as I was a few weeks ago when I had us comfortable mid-table.

We really have to hope the new players quickly bed in and that we get the best out of  creative players such as N'Zogbia, Ireland, Albrighton and Bannan. Otherwise we could struggle.

N'Zog needs to find some confidence from somewhere, have been shocked at how mediocre he's been since he got here. Himself and Ireland, if they are interested, will be a key part as to how our season unfolds. If we are attacking, we keep the pressure off the defence, the less pressure they are under the better, I think our defense is going to be suspect until they get used to each other.

13th 47 Points. With shrewd acquisitions over the next 18 months to  make us Top 6-8 contenders again come 2 seasons time.
We are still in a mess but now we have a manager who is not shovelling more and more shit in on top of us, quite the opposite

This is N'Zogbia's chance to shine.

I think he will.

No, he tells it like the biased, sensationalist, gobshitey, straggly-bleached, shirt-buttons-open idiot fuckface he is.

Robbie Savage - Villa are poor and will go down.

Hold on to your hats Villa fans - the wise sage of all things ballroom ... er I mean football ... or maybe I mean hairdressing?  Anyways - Robbie the Jobbie - in an attempt to whip up interest in his baffling career at the BBC, the loathsome Savage has tipped Villa for relegation.

His tip goes - Reading - Southampton - Villa.

Because - Robbie tells us - Villa are a very very poor team.

Where's Dion when you need him?

Yeah  I saw that. If we didn't go down last year, there's no way we'll go down this year.
