I just buy them when they're cheap, regardless of content. Just a principle I have of never paying £14 or something stupid for a DVD.
I've got about a dozen Villa DVD's now and the most I paid was £6 for The Big Match from HMV.

Trouble with collecting is you do end up with lots of stuff you don't necessarily want or will watch (again).

I went through a spell of recording our games when shown live on TV despite being at the match, then I wouldn't record over it, after a while there was quite a culmination of tapes.  I had a purge a little while back and threw majority of tapes away, most things having been replaced on DVD anyway, keeping just a few tapes that aren't available on DVD (which is mostly football and music).

And for info, a great site for checking / monitoring dvd prices is:   www.find-dvd.co.uk

I think 04/05 was the first review DVD although I may be wrong. I found a copy in a charity shop for 99p but the bugger doesn't work!

I think 02-03 was the first season on DVD. I could be wrong though.

I buy them when they're cheap on E-Bay. The only one I'm missing is the 04/05 DVD.

If you look up you'll see my copy was 99p and doesn't seem to work.

I'm missing a working 04/05, any before that as well as 08/09 and last season.

I'll lend you my 04/05 at some stage to see if you can get it to work as I only have my PC and a PS to play them on.

Is that 8 copies forever and then we never have to talk about that season again? If so, perhaps they should be sealed inside some kind of Hellraiser style evil puzzle box.

Yes, agree, last season's review should have some kind of health warning and not to be viewed by the faint-hearted. Definitely should have ''to be viewed with caution''!

Has anyone got 04/05 so they can do me a copy? its the only one I'm missing from 1988 onwards.
