Will Spurs fans look back at Levy like we looked at Doug? Over many years on many occasions on the verge of something great but never made the key investments at the right time to push them to the next level.

Its like Villa re-signing Benteke and expecting him to be as good as the first time round and not bemoaning him as much as one would when he's failing to perform because of a successful past at the club
That doesn't stop Benteke's name being mentioned on here every transfer window: see also, Albrighton, Cahill, etc.

That got me thinking of players we have re-signed. Andy Gray, Steve Hunt, Andy Blair, Sid x 2.

Looks like Real Wolves are about to lose Jota for what seems a very low price of £35m to Liverpool

It’s all right, they’ve spent the same amount on an 18 year old who couldn’t hit the target to save his life against Stoke last night.

If we'd have signed Bale you'd have all had your cocks in your hand!

Apart from those who if we signed Messi & Ronaldo would still find something to bitch about!  ::)

Dwarf shithouse Ross McCormack signs for Aldershot Town.

Chico Hamilton on here has a mate that lives there and they make an annual pilgrimage to a home game each season. Apparently the crowd has a higher than merited proportion of eccentrics, fools and fruit loops. I seem to recall that a fella with a full Cozy Powell drum kit sets up behind the goal.

As a former journeyman stand-up comedian I have played some terrible, terrible towns in terms of audiences (Sheppey Island, Grays, Carlisle, Newport) but the very worst of all, and I think most of my former colleagues on the (former, thanks to Covid) circuit would agree, is Aldershot. Absolute animals every single time. I'm glad he's found a home there.

One of my ex fiances was from Grays. Wasn't Aldershot's ground rather unique and you had to walk through some allotments?
