it was a loan and his deal with his parent club ran out, the other things being banded around were by london based media who seemed sure he was going to stay on at fulham after his deal expired. he would be emense for us. him guthrie and murphy should be made priority, murphy only as a cover till if or when petrov is back.

Guthrie is average, Murphy is too old but I dont mind going for Pogrebnyak.

I'd love a bit of a coup with a couple of signings. Maybe a Berbatov or a Sturridge (either would work wonders with Bent) as well as a few shrewd value signings we're bound to be looking at too.

Allegedly there is a transfer kitty of £25 million, which doesn't really add up to much when you consider the number of players that have left since the seasons end.

On this evidence, I can see us raiding Norwich for a couple of players, and perhaps Swansea considering 'Pool have agreed not to raid them.
