Gardner taking over at Wednesday and steering them to safety at the expense of Blues would just be magical.
nah ..... Gardner taking over from Karanka & them finally falling through the trap door with one of their own at the helm would be truly magical & be proper .. 'only Blues'.....

Robert Hopkins was one of their own and he scored an own goal to help Altrincham knock them out of the FA Cup at the sty.

Rumours on SHA that Wilder might be sacked and that they should get him in. Would be harsh if he was sacked and even harsher if he ended up there.

They could lose the rest of their games 10-0 and his stock will still not have fallen far enough to make that move.

They're firmly in the "fucked up my last job in the Championship, but earlier qualified success elsewhere will convince some bunch of mugs to give me another chance before I'm done" bracket of new appointments now.

I think I posted a prediction a few days ago that at some point they will inevitably be managed by Lee Bowyer or Joey Barton.

I really don't get the 'nice guy' reputation, he always comes across to me as a petulant dickhead who always has someone else to blame, in complete contrast to someone like McLeish who while terrible here as a manager at least managed to be terrible in a dignified manner.

Savage and Sutton on 606 reckon Allardyce is on for a ten million quid payout if he keeps Albion up.
