Someone has to explain to me how on earth Bielsa has been named as a top 5 nominee for 2020 FIFA coach of the year.

It's like he's some sort of hypnotist who's got the whole of football under his spell.

It would appear that Leeds being back in the top flight after sixteen years has restored the natural balance in the universe and anyone who doesn't think they are back where they belong hates football. Personally I don't recall giving them much thought over the last decade and a half.

I gave them some thought, but that was only because I was looking to see when they were playing at Bristol Rovers in League 1

Similar to last year when they got a UEFA fair play award for letting us walk a goal in.  Forgetting that it was blatant cheating that led to the whole saga, during which one of their players has El Ghazi sent off as well as a result of the worst sort of cheating.

If he's such a genius why can't he speak English after 2.5 years here? Still needs a translator for a basic requirement of his job, pfft!

And Bielsa had to be asked to do it it’s not like he volunteered it.

Watching Klopp have a major whine about only 3 subs and trying to blame it on Chris Wilder again after the 1-1 draw at Brighton is a good watch.

Yet again they want to change rules midway through a season to suit them, tell him to eff off & do the job he is paid for which is to manage the 25 man squad he has at his disposal....use the data from all those sports scientists / analysts & medical staff he also has to rotate appropriately.

You never hear them whinge about all the pointless group games they play in Europe yet they want 2/3 of the clubs to bend over backwards to accommodate the 1/3 who are in Europe.

Having said all that...I’d let them have the 5 subs nonsense on one condition that the garbage VAR is switched off & never ever seen again :-)

I'd say have all the subs you want -as long as only three of them cost a transfer fee.

Could be a good way of giving the youth a chance?

Steve Cotterill appointed new Shrewsbury manager

He spent five whole months in charge of Small Heath a few years back. Prior to that he was Harry Redknapp's assistant there and they stayed up on the last day. They probably have a hospitality suite named in his honour.

Yes, but they would call it the “The Cotteridge Suite”.

I see the Dwarf with Villa inferiority Syndrome has been appointed Sunderland manager.  Bit of a comedown for him.

I think he did a good job at Bristol City but history is littered by one club managerial wonders.

Plus it's Sunderland lads. Not for nothing are they called the "Black Cats" though I wish them well.
