Athletico Madrid 1 Liverpool 0. If I could hand pick the next Villa manager I would choose Diego Simeone, he is right up there with the best in the world for me and maybe he would fancy the Premier League at this stage in his career. He is also best mates with Pitarch after their successful time together at Athletico.

My concern would be he has gone from a slick mafia hit man look to having Nans hair

Nah, he looks like some mad fucking goon from the 50's that would cut you as much as look at you now.

Although he was only a few yards away from the incident, when asked for his opinion on Lo Celso's stamp on Azpilicueta, Mourinho says he didn't see it, the bloke's a joke.

Why shouldn't he have lasted this long? According to him his team have been consistently "excellent, really excellent" week in week out. They must just be the unluckiest team in the league.

It was noticeable that after the defeat to Cov, he was back in Full Metal Mumble Mode, post-match.

I wonder if Ipswich have gone for the tactic of keeping the ball in their own half and losing it the moment they venture into the opposition's half yet?

He was years ahead of everyone else with his goal kick tactics, everyone is copying him these days.
