I posted the other day about Di matteo (based on and WBA itk) that's he would be a disaster, glad others agree.
He's only done well at Chelski by bending firmly over and letting the senior memepbers back in the riding room

Glad to see that a few others have their doubts about Di Matteo.

There's no way we'll go for him.

Definitely?

He wouldn't feature on my want list, at all. I don't think it's his appointment that led Chelsea to reaching a CL final.

He has done well in the cups but in the PL AVB did slightly better.  I just get the feeling that players carried the team through to the end of the season.

I didn't realise that he applied for the Birmingham job last year and that is why he ended up as assistant manager at Chelsea.

I just hope for OGS's sake that he is our first choice otherwise he could find himself out of a job and nowhere to go through no fault of his own

Dave, are you aware of the so called other targets, names, your thoughts?

My opinion, with nothing behind it other than one or two hastily-canvassed opinions, is that he's our top target and there are others on the list should he turn the job down.

I can't help thinking that one of the names might be Ian Holloway. ITK on other forums reckon a manager with three initials is definitely on the list? FSW, AVB etc  I hope it's not RDM as in Matteo.

Did you actually read the other bits in the conversation flow? Please do, that way you don't look so stupid.

Let's see. You suggest that some ITK's are saying we're going to consider a manager with three initials. I replied with the name of a man we've approached, who has three initials.

Summers, there are said to be OTHER names on the list, one also has a three initial name apparently, according to the supposed ITK. For example AVB etc. We were talking (typing) about other candidates, not OGS. Don't worry, I'm sure this'll work out for the best and OSG will be our new Manager!

AVB? Unless that stand for Aston Villa Bartender, no chance!
