I hope that the result of the game in no way affects the end result as far as the Manager and Randy are concerned.  I hope the decision to replace the twat has already been taken.  Also, one win will not alter the fact that this has been a shit season.  Hopefully, we do win and go up a place to earn what will be 4.8million in prize money.  Use that money to sack Mcfuckwit and his dwarf sidekick.

I'm not sure we'll have too much of a say - we aren't going to win tomorrow simply because he doesn't now how to set up a winning team - lose or draw is all we are capable of doing.

I'm not sure exactly how long I've had a season ticket for - 10 or 11 years or so and looked forward to it every week except for this season. If this guy signed Messi he would be playing right back.

I understand that we are in the crap financially - I never expected us to be in the crap from a football perspective. I have no idea what I'll do with my saturdays but I'm not going down there whilst he is in charge - I would rather poke hot needles in my eyes frankly!

Losing to Norwich wouldn't be the end of the world footballing-wise.  Retaining that inept waste of oxygen McLeish would.

Never want us to lose but if us staying up on goal difference rather than by points would force Lerner to get rid of McLeish then I would accepts a loss.

Sadly I don't think anything is going to get rid of McLeish anytime soon so I want a win, Especialy seems ive spent a fortune this weekend by bringing the misses and our daughter to great Yarmouth for the weekend.

Any decision about AM's future you would thnk would have been made quite some time ago.  But the way our board sleep walk their way into making managerial decisions makes me wonder.

We should have somebody in place now, we have, haven't we,.... surely?

I don't eat eggs eastie.   They have been up chickens arseholes.  The decision has already been made to whit "stay up and we will give you a bit more money and a bit more time, go down and Corsica is lovely this time of year".   Why do you think he punched the air at the final whistle of the Spuds game?   He knows more than we do.

he is going 100%,
if you really think he will be here at the start of next season, you have read the whole situation wrong

John your steadfast optimism has been heart warming, and I really, really hope you have got this one right!

Tomorrows result is completely meaningless and irrelevant because win, lose or draw this season has been awful and the most miserable for a long time. Its not like I would be happy if we won pretending we've somehow how finished on a high when we haven't, we have relied on teams below us not getting the results they needed rather than getting results ourselves. Last season was finishing on a high. Ever since the purchase of Bent we played good football and won games beating notable opposition too, beating Liverpool on the last day was finishing on a high because we had improved as a team and there was a feeling of optimism and potential going into this season.

Unless McLeish is gone and we get a new manager who is going to reinvigorate this team and will get the fans back on side there is nothing to look forward to and that is why tomorrows result has no baring on how I will feel about this season.

Not too fussed either way.

I never, ever want to see us lose and tbh if Randy hasn't already decided that AML has to go then a last day defeat away at Norwich (who've had a more than decent first season back) isn't going to convince him.

My concern is that he's still undecided - a thumping victory might make him think that perhaps AML foes have a future afterall.

A draw would probably be the best result - and most predicatable.

I find it very sad reading the comments of so many of us who maybe like myself are not renewing season tickets and contemplating not going to home games till he's gone. The facts and the stats are irrefutable evidence to Lerner, but more than that they must read our comments and surely, knowing that, they must  have been, over the last few weeks , researching exactly the best man to replace him as none of us want 1 second more of the negative defeatist crap we've had .

If they are so stupid as to base his future on the outcome one game, especially a pretty meaningless last match of the season, then i'd say we are up shit creek regardless of what they do with AM.

And this is one of the many reasons why Randy must act.

Poeple saying 'i'll not go again till he's gone' is understandable given the football this season.  I've known people who've said this before and when the Manager gets replaced guess what - they don't go back.  Usually because they started doing other things with their weekend, got out of the habit of thinking about the Villa, saved some money etc.  Still Villa fans but just attend 1/3 matches instead of 15/20 per season.

It's key that Randy doesn't let our support base dwindle and drift because you'll never get them all back.

That's right Peter but I do now actually think they are quite stupid (in footballing terms).

You're right - I go down with my son and its almost a ritual and given he's at university it tends to be a trek to make it all work on a saturday.

Stoke at home was the end for me when the ball went off injured late in the second half due to the fact it spent most of its time working at height!

This isn't a protest - I just can't get enthusiastic about the spectacle. And whilst not an expert on these matters I really think that he's stopping and the silence is more about the board thinking "oh f*ck they ain't going to like this!"

Not really bothered about tomorrows result - i just hope mcleish gets the full brunt of the fans feelings after this awful season.

Yes anyone going please make him feel uncomfortable as I do not want to see he in our dugout ever again
