Martin Atkinson is the referee.

Straight red card for Given, who would miss the 1st 3 games of next season and see us foot of the table with no points by mid-September.

If we don't win, we will be only the second side (since Sky invented the game) to avoid the drop by winning less than 8 games. The only side at present to have done that was the Bitter Birds who won 6.

I know that we like to think Villa are a traditional club but things have been taken too far this season.
All of the 7 league wins have been Saturday 3.00 p.m. kick offs.  Therefore will have to settle for a draw at best on Sunday.

Another excuse the manager could use - blame Sky + ESPN

Christ. I've only just realised we only won 7 games all season.

Fucking hell.

It's been a blast hasn't it?!

The next couple of weeks, waiting to see if and when AM goes and who we will get in will be more exciting that the season we have had. That is so wrong.

And to think at one point, I had a straight choice: pay a deposit on my flat or buy a season ticket.

Spoke to a Norwich fan yesterday who was disappointed as they were looking forward to relegating us on Sunday (as we'd relegated them in 95? and they were after revenge). I think with no fit forwards  2-0 to them unfortunately

I can't remember the last time I cared so little about a villa game.

Same here Matt.

I do hope Carruthers gets a start though after some promising cameos recently.

That Norwich fan got it wrong we never sent them down they were already gone by the time we played them on the last day.  A point was enough to keep us up but it was irrelevant as Palace lost at Newcastle.

Me too, looked the pick of the bunch in the ressies just now, apart from Bannan. If we we played Clark at centre back, and started Carruthers I'd increase my interest level
