He's turning away from the ball expecting the player in front of him to volley it. Would have been incredibly harsh to give a penalty for that, no intent.

Except his arm was unnecessarily out wide, making his body unfairly bigger.

I think he absolutely has been told that his whole demeanour is wrong. Had an alteration in the tunnel before the game too. Pushed a camera away
