He's turning away from the ball expecting the player in front of him to volley it. Would have been incredibly harsh to give a penalty for that, no intent.

It was a penalty. His HAND changes the path of the ball. It's a penalty.

Why, ALL the time, does it take 2 or 3 passes to get it out to someone wide when 1 pass will do it??? FUcks me off.

McCleish still sat on his ass. He's definelty rattled isn't he?!

Do you think he's been told that he's gone in the summer? He seems to be even less inspiring than usual.

I think he absolutely has been told that his whole demeanour is wrong. Had an alteration in the tunnel before the game too. Pushed a camera away

Tell the man in charge of your team that you're firing him. Clever board.

Lucky Jerome Thomas is playing: he makes N'Zog look half-decent.

Was it deliberate? That's kind of a big part of whether it should be given as handball or not.

It come from quite a distance away, but he's clearly expecting the useless twat in front of him to clear it and is starting to turn to run up the pitch.

It's one of that you sometimes see given, but people would be furious if that was given against us.

We really are fucking rubbish - the players can't do the simplest of things

Every time hutton crosses he hits the first defender, simple passes out to the wing are overhit, when we do break there are no players to support quick enough so the tempo of the break is lost - and as for Gabby - twat

They are normally given to be fair.

We need the mother of all come backs at Wigan, and a MON stunner of a team talk at Sunderland. Please!!

Ireland for Gabby with Zog up top for me second half.

Fucking hell 4-0 to Wigan now.

Gabby looks overweight and unfit.

Why on earth McDick has to play 3 defenders in midfield, I don't know. It's all very ugly and cumbersome. I really can't see us scoring here. There's no cutting edge. We're totally lacking in pace, and our two pace players, Gabby and N'Zog look shit at the moment. Neither looks in top condition either.
