Given the lack of footballing knowledge and nous on our board, the Director of Football with Coach option is viable.

What's crucial is someone is there making sure our academy continues to produce players like it has done.

Pardew would actually be my pick for top of that table.  Lambert has done very well, but he's managed to navigate a very average mid table group, where as Pardew has gotten past that group and is mixing it wit the big spenders.

Defo Pardew for me. He was a laughing stock 18 months' ago and the Barcodes were not happy when Hughton got the push.
Now, he has built an enviable base on which to develop for next season and beyond. Impressive.

I'd also add that Martinez and Di Matteo may well end up higher by the end of this season; both seem to have found divine inspiration from somewhere. Either that, or their eary-season efforts are finally delivering.
