I'm hoping we go for the win for some breathing space, but can't help feeling that Honest Alex will go all out for a drab draw.
Then he'll riverdance in front of the Directors box.
The image that has conjured up in my mind has really had me chuckling

Just one win, that's all we need.  One fcuking poxy win.

So did Blues last year strangely enough.
They picked up 1 point in their last 6 games Two of those games Wolves and Newcastle(I think) they were 1-0 up before being reduced to 10 men

Whatever happens today, just remember: we are the Villa. The people who support the club and make it more than just a playing surface and a bundle of TV contracts. We will still be here next year, the year after, the year after that and long after all this is forgotten.

I don't care how we play or if our winning goal is offside/handball or whatsoever, just fucking win it.  Not due to the MON factor, we bloody hell need the 3 points.

A MON side is probably the last team (those Cockney and Manc Sky darlings aside) that we'd like to be playing right now.

They'll be organised and be strong on set pieces.  We've struggled all season to break sides down (see our goals scored column) so that doesn't bode well and Martinoneilsunderland will be set up to hit on the counter - classic MON.

Also, we've proved for 18 months now that any set pieces around the box, corners or free kicks, are dealt with as about well as Hitler at a Barmitzvah.

I'm staying up to watch this tonight - not sure why but I just have to - hope to McGrath it's not a car crash.

As well as us needing points to stay up my bitterness over MON just wants us to beat Sunderland. Maybe sad, but I would just like a Kevin Keegan rant and say "I would love it if we beat them".

I am going to the pub early today before i go down the Villa. I know this is a massive game but i am more nervous than usual and just hope we have a day that dont enhance that feeling. Hope he plays Gary Gardner this could be his day to step up to another level and show his brother what he is all about. 2-1 Gardner Carutthers. Larsson ..........

Need Gabby to step up today and show what he can do when he is up for it. The defence has got to be solid and switched on at set pieces.

Like others have said i don't care how we win as long as we win today.

Come on Villa.
