I know it's only the Norwegian league, but to lead a club to their first ever league title in your first year in charge isn't an easy thing to do!

He has potential, but it's a huge gamble IMO.

He's also had a quite a bit of money to do it.

If it turns out to be OGS I would be fine with the risk aspect, I've always advocated that so I can't complain now
Its  just the Man Utd thing i don't like

All speculation at the moment- lets wait for something to be announced before we either celebrate or panic, i expect the betting to fluctuate wildly and many more names to become favourite before we get our man.

Interesting that OGS won the title in Norway at a club that had never won it, at his first attempt, and in a league where Rosenborg had won every one of the previous twenty league titles, bar two.

That is quite impressive.

I wonder what is style of football is like   , but what worries me the norwegian league is like the old third division , its alot different than the prem .  If molde say , reached the quartes of the champoins league next season , he would look like a damn fine good manager.

I'd say he'd be off to a team in the CL if he managed that, rather than coming to us.

I think he's a decent choice.

He's regarded as a great student of the game and there's reports all through his time at Man U of him talking about training techniques and tactics.  I always find players who have a 'super sub' reputation have a great understanding of the game because they can see the problems themselves and understand exactly what they need to go out and do.

With a DoF he'd potentially be a great choice as we could go for someone with more experience to back him up.

Apparently Molde have become the Man City of Norway with big investment behind them. That may have more to do with their league win than OGS managerial skills.

I just feel 4-5 years minimum in management is an absolute requirement to be taking on a job such as ours.
He doesn't have that and therefore the risk factor is increased, and let's be honest, we can't afford to fuck about taking chances this time. The whole thing smacks of naivety once again.

And for those saying it's just a rumour, I would take his flight plans as fact as thetrees has a good track record. In these days of instant communication, why fly to Norway if this wasn't something more advanced than an interview. Historically, it appears, Randy only travels when he's found his man.

Watching that documentary, it's pretty clear he likes Molde to play by keeping the ball and passing it, in a league where clubs tend to play long balls.

Right that'll do for me, I'm sold. I just want a manager who gets us playing entertaining football.
