And that's why I still think we will get relegated. We might be in a better position on the table, but we have no fight in us. It's the fight that keeps you up.

Starting to feel this may be correct unfortunately...

Fair play Carruthers - already done more in 30 seconds than Gardner has done all game

Let's not start slating our kids eh? FFS he's 19 and playing in a side devoid of confidence fighting relegation. Give him a break.

He's a big boy now, he's not 17 is he??

Making the point that Carruthers looks to be a player whereas GG has shown nothing all game

You missed the bit where I stated that he was 19, not 25. When Gardner was coming through the ranks he was all people talked about. A few months into his pro career you are slating him and heralding the next rising star until he has a bad/average game.

No slating - it was a statement of fact that Carruthers had - and continues to -  done more since coming on.

Same way Heskey had a decent header which was saved by De Gea - i don't now think he is our Messiah up front.

Just because they are young players doesn't make them exempt from any criticism - which my post wasn't.

This is what I think, when you are playing the worst football in the division you have to be in there and Villa are terrible.

We need for everybody below us to carry on losing.

If we had any fight left in us, this result will get rid of that. Can't see any possibility of us avoiding relegation now - even andy gray virtually said so in The Times today. Maybe we can win some games in the Championship.

Please let that whistle also be 'time' on McLeech's career as a manager, and if not, his employment by the club that he is single-handedly trying to destroy.

Does anyone still think that we're 'too good to go down'?

All season i haven't been surprised, but I do expect more professionalism and more passion, that is what McLeish can't put into a side.

Just grateful it wasn't 6 or 7

Don't be. We need all our results I be as bad as they can to get rid of mcleish. We need him gone. This is the worst season for me as a fan, ever. I hate what they have done to our great club

While your contempt for the manager is understandable. I find it ludicrous that you are hoping that we 'achieve' the worst results possible. I hope you don't go to games, we need to get behind the team. We'll get relegated with that attitude.
